Abstract
St. Valentine’s Day Sophia and Max spent together, because they sat next to each
other on the plane. Earlier in the morning, five musicians came to Sophia’s room at
the hotel to play a beautiful piece of music. It was a gift from one secret admirer,
who also presented her with a huge bunch of red roses and a heart-shaped box of
chocolate sweets.
Sophia thought that it must be Max. But, at the same time, several facts
contradicted that theory. Max knew she did not eat sweets, and he had already
presented her with a stylish pendant in the form of a heart, made of beautiful lavish
red spinel. Sophia also got many Valentine cards, flowers, and presents from her
most loyal Japanese fans.
On the plane Sophia and Max watched one and the same TV program. The host
in the studio was Harry Lewis, who would also be the host of the new US ice show,
where Sophia and Max planned to participate.
